![]() ![]() I'm hoping on Synology to provide a solution. It is possible to unmark the LrC folders as System-folders however I am unsure whether or not this will cause problems in LrC. So I am manually copying my catalog through a script as of now. I haven't yet discovered a solution for this. The log file for Synology Drive says as much. I think this is due to Lightroom marking those folders as "System"-folders and Synology Drive's decision to never sync such folders. The helper, previews, smart previews, sync and new lrcat-data folders all stopped synchronizing. The only folders/files that get sychronized after upgrading to catalog version 11, are the Backups folder and the Library.lrcat file. When I upgraded the LrC to the latest version (the masking update) and LrC upgraded my catalog to version 11 Synology Drive stopped working correctly. As I said, great app but these tiny issues affect how fast we are able to go through client backups everyday and does become a bit of a pain hence the 4/5 review. It's perhaps not something most of you do but still I'd like to warn possibly others of this.Īs the title states, I use Synology Drive to sync my Lightroom Classic (v11) catalog on Windows 10/11. It seems to be bugged that if less than 3 profiles in the group profile fail it won't give a failure report and then we have to manually go in everytime and check if any profile failed. ![]() If that were the only issue it would be fine because yes it's more work but it would only be once off, my issue is with the reports. When syncback copies over 3 million files it seems to just crash and abort the copy which means we had to make a group copy profile with over 300 tinier profiles to copy each individual folder within the archive. So I have to give praise to the app as a whole, however the reason I give it 4/5 stars is because of an issue we have when it comes to our bigger clients (architects mainly). The setting of schedules and getting reports of failed copies helps a lot when managing the backups of over 6 clients everyday during other IT related work. Iv used both syncback free and syncback pro at different clients and it's an amazing app. ![]()
